When I heard RO2 was coming I was very excited.
All the later news about the additional singleplayer campaigns made it even better.

But now that I have played the final version both single and multiplayer I'm a bit disappointed.
Well, there's nothing wrong with the multiplayer , it's up to the standards in my opinion.

BUT
Tripwire messed up the single part pretty bad.
At first I was thinking about something like Bad Company 2 or at least COD. Two campaigns with a real story.
But I was like WTF!? when I found out its nothing more but multiplayer with bots instead of real players. Stupid bots.
I just pray the SDK will be released soon and that MAYBE some smart modders will give us a REAL campaign.

As I stated earlier this day in another forum:
In the days of Stalin, the Gulag would have gotten some new inhabitants today Evil or Very Mad

Also maaaaaajor lag, single player or multiplayer, regardless of video quality.
That's for me, anyway. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Runs fine in the single player campaign, but if I'm on a server with more than 30 people, it turns to gerbil droppings. You wouldn't think latency would effect framerate, would you?

No but for real, I get around the same amount of lag online and offline, high or low graphics settings. I dunno what the deal is.

I'm kind of happy they did it this way. In the end those campaigns with huge epic story lines and cinematics have little to no re-playability. It's basically like playing through an action movie, with scripted AI and events, and you don't really gain anything from from them. With a single player like this, and many other multiplayer focused FPS games have, you learn the multiplayer maps without the stress of having to preform well. Because, in all honesty a lot of Red Orchestra 2 players haven't played the original Red Orchestra and have no idea how it works. If they had to jump into multiplayer with no preparations I'm pretty sure they'd be turned off of the game quickly. Along with the fact that'd we'd be stuck with really crappy teammates in random servers Mad

It would've been cool if they included both though!

I really didn't even expect a lot, realism community is still the main thing for me.
